Eddison Michael Sainsbury Jr., known professionally as Spade is the hottest rising star in the world of R&B. The 23 year old Brooklyn, NY native has navigated the entertainment world from an early age. The seemingly natural talent writes his own lyrics and has produced some of his own tracks which make his music command attention and leaving you craving for more! This sultry, sexy R&B singer credits his dad Eddison Sr., his “tree” of inspiration for his vocal and instrumental abilities. Spade’s dad is a virtual one man band, composing songs and playing everything from bass to drums, keyboard and guitar. Spade’s affiliation with entertainment didn’t stop at puberty. Recently, this future hit-selling, R&B sensation continues to showcase his mesmerizing vocals while touring the United States and abroad singing backup for Grammy-Award nominated, Sean Kingston. While Kingston was the opening act for chart toppers Chris Brown, Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani, Spade’s seductive voice pulled the attention of not only Kingston but International fans as well. Since the beginning of 2008, the tour has led Spade on a world-wide adventure; taking him to places to perform like New Zealand, Australia, Dubai, Singapore, Prague and Israel and also appearing on national shows such as “Good Morning America”, “Regis & Kelly”, “BET’s 106 & Park”, "Dancing With The Stars" & "Americas Got Talent" to name a few. In 2006, Spade toured with Bobby Brown and in 2007, he was featured on an unreleased track with T.I and Jeezy. Those closest to him describe Spade as a passionate soul, which is instantly recognizable as he bares his soul on his upcoming debut “Cards Never Lie”. The album promises to take you on a myriad of emotions from sadness to joy. The first song set to release off the album entitled "Designated D" is certified hit and will be in a club near you very soon. Though he is an R&B artist Spade’s eclectic taste in music is revealed in his sound which is infused with a mixture of soul, pop, jazz, reggae and old school. In the future, Spade would like to produce even more music but his heart lies in songwriting and performing. Currently, Spade is hard at work juggling studio sessions and touring with established artists, which has brought him close enough to feel the heat from the lights on center stage, lights that are destined to shine on him.
