It’s not a model that one would expect from a Latin Alternative, bi-lingual band from Los Angeles. There are too few real heroes or role models left in the world and for Love Star, it is their conviction to inspire that change. Their first album, “Espectro,” was produced by 16-time Grammy winning producer Thom Russo. It is an eleven-song drama that encompasses the full spectrum (or espectro) of life’s interactions and relationships… love, heartache, break ups and everything in between. These dramas serve as examples of everyday obstacles that give us all the opportunity to embrace self-empowerment and to realize the hero inside each of us. Love Star performs as a live band, but there are only two true members: Lead vocalist and keyboardist Starla (Adriana Fernandez) and lead guitarist The Doctor (Will Alves). |
