On November 12, 1985, in Tucson, Arizona, an artist was born. The first time Alejandro Wood picked up a guitar was at the age of four. From that moment on, he knew what he was destined to be. His father, a man of many talents, had him at the ripe age of 52, and exposed him to a vast range of music early on. Alejandro is known for his soulful pop lyrics, powerful voice, and his remarkable guitar abilities. His rhythmic gifts do not stop at his voice, his vast dance background in hip hop and jazz brings his artistry to an even higher level of consciousness. In 2006 he moved to Los Angeles to jump start his destiny. Five months after leaving home, his father passed at the age 73, which was both depressing and blissful for Alejandro, thus creating "a continuation of his lyrical story." With a four track disk out called "The Protection EP" Alejandro is finishing up his first full length album which should be available this summer.
