I'm Your Man
A musician who began playing in his teens and now at 46 yrs of age releases his first awaited cd for a few who know him well. While most players have gone to their couches and made tv their best friend, he refuses to be the status quo.
Still driving passion when time allows. He writes and records in his home studio, mainly into guitar driven songs.
Like he quotes:
I've never had the luxury of living on the edge and
bangin' down the big record company's doors to get
a deal while being hungry, but I have played
numerous gigs locally with two bands through the
years. The experience alone was a great thing
while learning to hon my skills in front of an
audience. One could only appreciate what the
working musician do out there.
Writing and recording though is a part of my life
and what I have to do. To most people this gig
would be a lot of effort.
How could one think this, when you experience
every element of life and learn how to enhance
your swearing ability! hahaha

Originally there was players in mind for this project but I got self
induldged and started writing and recording. This is the first,
and hopefully a few more in me. It's a studio recording where all
instruments are played by myself, except for drums which I
programmed and various loops. It's defiantly an honest with no lies record.
My influences mostly Canadian rock (not intentional) are April Wine, Stampeders, Colin James, Eric Clapton, Kim Mitchell.

If you like rock...les Paul distortion, Strat for balance and nice hard hitting snare with a good drum kit and guitar leads to grab you...this is for you. A good balance of songs...

The new cd release of "Carved In Stone" is a studio album over a
period of five years by Dave Peterson,
and was recorded from home in N.B. Canada.
