Andre Brown was born in Savannah, Georgia on August 11, in the 80's. He was raised on East Park Avenue, a ghetto neighborhood on the east side of Savannah. Growing up, Dre had many hard times through his life of hard times. Living through poverty and being a witness to the struggle gained total control over his mentality and the way he carried his self through the streets. Dre grew up in a community of drugs and violence. It wasn’t long before him and his friends became adapted to the street life. Being raised by a single mother with an addiction and with no father figure around didn’t make life any better , though Dre mother (Janice) did all she can to take care of the household, Dre looked at life a little different. Dre has a older brother by the name of Yashay Brown and an older sister by the name of Eddrian Green. Through out his middle age years, Dre was always back and forth from Savannah to Atlanta Ga, to live with other family member because of household issues. In between times, Dre was also living with his grandmother (Beulah Brown) who lived on W Perth St. the west side of Savannah in a hood everyone calls Cann Park where his cousin Eric Dukes use to run as a big time drug dealer with hood friends such as Savannah’s well known local rapper Camoflauge and others around his hood. When Eric passed away, it was like apart of Dre’s life was taking away. Dre looked up to his big cousin because he was the one that kept the family together and strong so Dre felt like he had a place to take to keep the family strong.
At the age of 17, he really fell victim to the streets because the streets were like his second home and when hard times was at his residence he been out in the streets. Dre started visiting the projects of Savannah Ga, by the name of Yamacraw Village with a couple of childhood friends that he called his brothers such as Mike, Mario, Raymond, Lil Zay, and his brother Shay.
Dre got introduced to selling drugs by a local dealer that supplied the hood. By 18 he had dropped out of school and was selling drugs to make a living and survive through the streets. Dre started going back and forth from the juvenile to prison for drug charges. When he got release from prison in the year of 2006, he started a new religion for the hood, an organization that goes by the name of StreetDown. He start pursuing his rap career as a local rap artist with other members of the StreetDown organization. He is now CEO/Artist of Streetdown Entertainment an now released his new single called (No Doubt) with Bentley Records
