One of Israel's leading recorder players and prominent musicians and educators.

Gained her B Mus in recorder performance from Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in 1990. Has specialized in Recorder playing with Larry Zukof (USA) and Pedro Memelsdorff (Italy).

Drora is the head of the EM department in the Israeli Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv, which she established in 2005. Teaches recorder majors at the Jerusalem Academy, coaches chamber music and leads workshops and masterclasses and has been recently chosen by the Israeli Ministry of Education as "national expert" in the fields of recorders and early music, which makes her responsible for following the training of teachers in all institutions in the country.

On stage Drora is very active as a solo artist and member of several ensembles. Performs in recitals and as a soloist regularly in Israel and abroad since 1983. Recorder player in the Tel Aviv Baroque Trio, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Quynade (medieval music ensemble) & Ariel Recorder Trio. Has collaborated in recitals with leading artists such as: Emma Kirkby (England), Roberto Gini (Italy), Jerome Correas (France), Klaus Martens (Germany)Barbara Schlick (Germany), Rinaldo Alessandrini (Italy) Anthony Rooley (England), Dan Laurin (Sweden), Aviv Quartet (Israel), etc.

Drora is a keen performer of contemporary music. In the last few years had performed over 80 premiers of pieces which were composed especially for her.

In recent years had performed in England, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, USA, Australia and Canada. Recorded for the Israeli Broadcasting Service, ABC – the classical radio station of Australia, EWM CDs, Albany CDs (USA), Tel'ad.
