Rapper and hip-hop entrepreneur Fase is known for leading one of the fastest growing independent record labels, Faseworld Entertainment. Proven business mogul he is responsible for creating a clothing line and an artesian water product. Born, Chamar Jovon Goodwin in Atlantic City New Jersey on Oct 11th , he grew up in Brooklyn, NY where at a young age he used music as an escape from drugs, violence, and poverty.
He promised his best friend, Black Ty before he died that he would pursue his music career and get out of the streets. Not long after he began his journey in the US Navy he always felt a void. After being honorable discharged for 8 years of service, Fase hit the ground running and never looked back. .
In 2006, he met rapper Kryse who served as a mentor. It was at this point that he embraced the nickname Faseworld, which was simultaneously homage to having a great time and living your dreams to the fullest.
He appeared at Quad Studio in 2007 and won a worldwide distribution deal with Mogul Media. After selling over 1000 records of his single “Billionaire,” he then created Shafase clothing line. After living in Virginia he became well known to its music industry and won the Blendsville Award in 2011.
In 2012 Fase moved to Atlanta, GA and was nominated for the Georgia Music Award in 2013 and 2014 as best hip-hop male. With popular new hot singles like, “She Dancing" Produced by ZMD and "Last Night," Produced by Multi-Platinum producer Zaytoven, Fase has extended his fan base to a much larger international market and with plans to go on tour he is looking for an experienced manager to aid him in his push for mainstream.
