Godwin Masilo Makgotlho better known as Masilo is a young south African artist based in North West, Rustenburg.He was born in 23 July 1995 in a small village of North West, then moved to Rustenburg in 2015. Masilo grew up playing soccer, and once a team captain at a village team called Dream Team FC.

He started starting loving music when he was at grade 9 in 2010, he started writing his first song, then opened a rap group called Blizz Gang which is now Triller Gang,they recorded 3 songs, "popping brains", "snap that", "life goes on".Then in 2013 they separated when he finished high school and went to college.

Also the owner of SoundTaste Record label its a non profitable business, just helping others forward. Masilo recorded a song with Lesedi Emmanuel Seemise also known as "Manny" called "Catching feelings", which he produced. Masilo produced songs for various artists such as Mc Ely, Legends96 and the song is called loco.

Masilo performed in various places such as Motlhaputseng High School, Reggie's Pub, Rustenburg Elements and Tlhabane Community Hall.
