Bio: Jae Baz is his artist name. Born Joseph Obaruyi'Edo Osayomore Ehigie, Jae Baz is a Benin Kingdom native which is located in South South Nigeria. As his parents only son, Jae Baz has always been a very tactful and responsible action taker when it comes to setting trends and going after his goals and ambitions. According to Jae Baz the love of music has always been with him although he didn't pick up on the talent as early as some other artists do. Initially, Jae Baz wanted to play sports but all that changed when his mom moved him to stay with his Aunt in Boston, United States. It was in Boston that he picked up his talent for music after having a new perspective on life. Years passed and Jae Baz kept to his music and at the age of 20 he moved to reunite back with his mother in Canada after 7 yrs in America. Canada had a different sound and lifestyle when compared to what Jae Baz had been introduced to in the States. Being young and in America can expose you to a lot and Jae Baz was exposed to it all...Gang life and all..but Canada was more cultural and after several years of wanting to re-connect with his African roots, Jae Baz changed his music to Afro Fusion. As a well traveled artist with the combination of Italian experience, mixed with American and now Canadian perspective, the Jae Baz style is no doubt what you would call today Afro Fusion...and can alternately be categorized as World Music in the musical genre.
