JALPO Productions and publishing company is a multifaceted music corporation that transcend genres of R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Latin, Reggaeton, Soca and Salsa styles. Jalpo is taking the world of music by storm with a brand new release of the appealing crossover "Child of the Universe" album by Dalton Lindo "Screwdriver". In the words of CEO and producer Sean Folkes "The Company is going full blast on "Child of the Universe," plus we are presently recruiting new artists while working on album projects with established and recognized stars".

Formed in 2003, Jalpo has been laying their groundwork in the music industry, primarily in the areas of management and production. Some of their earlier works are the production of a solo album, "Solitude," by Ed Robinson, which is truly an excellent effort that will withstand the test of time. It was followed by the release of a various artists album, "Peace Love And Justice," a collector's item that brings a variety of rhythms and progressive lyrics together featuring the likes of Luciano, Terry Ganzie, Yammy Bolo, Mikey General and many more.

In addition, they have released 2 new singles on vinyl and CD with the Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths "The Way You Love Me", a lover's rock Reggae tune, and the Hip Hop/Caribbean beat remix of "Electric Boogie". Other new singles released are the Hip Hop/Reggae "Baby Mama Drama" and the Reggae/Latin/Soca flavored "Wine Wine" by Screwdriver.

The other artists for whom Jalpo Records have released singles are Luciano, Frankie Paul, Mikey General, Sluggie Ranks, Chappa Ranks, Ian Sweetness and Ed Robinson. Some of the musicians and engineers the label has worked with in their productions are: Grammy award winning engineers Julio Ferrara and Barry Ohara, other contributing engineers are Gilmore “Gillie Walker, Andy King and Jason Sterling. Among the musicians are Drummer: Joslyn “Speckles”, Guitarist: Purple, Keyboardist: Courtney “Bubbler” Edwards and on Bass Maurice Duncan. Recording studios are: Music Lab, E2 Studio, Dan One, Mixing Lounge, Jasfar Studio and Circle House Studio.

"We utilize All Access Distributors from out of Jamaica for vinyl" said Sean "and are currently negotiating with a major distribution company for digital and physical distribution".
