After discovering his talent for music at a certain talent competition in 2014. He then set out on his music career,recording his first single, The sounds, at Chocolate City records in 2016.
He has since then released a cover of Desiigner's Panda and has joined with Threshold Music in 2017.
His latest piece of work, titled RAMPAGE THE EP is a 2 track ep recorded and released in 2018.
Kaneltherapper, as he would preferably like to be referred to as, is a very young talent only 18 years of age and Has made it clear in interviews that he's not the type of rapper who is "in it for the paper".
In an interview late last year, he was asked his opinion on rap in Africa. He had this to say:
"Rap in this continent is not a wasted endeavor as most might view it, cuz I mean we've got niggas like Nasty c and Casper and AKA and Anaati, MI abaga, You name it, but I will say it's tough especially where you live in a country where the people prefer to listen to rap from other countries outside of Africa, it just makes shit harder for me, but that doesn't mean I finna stop, no, I'm not finna stop, I finna keep going till I make it here then we'll see. "
He makes it clear everytime that his biggest inspiration is American Hip Hop artist, J.cole and how he looks up to certain people and how certain people are his driving force.
"I think my biggest push is my mom, (pauses) yeah it's my mom, cuz she's a superwoman. I mean since my dad left us, my mom has become superhuman. She's been everything my brothers and I need and more. My other driving forces are like my niggas from the go and like the niggas who don't want me to go far, you know, and of course, my girl, that's right, she's been a real one from the get go and I love her so much. Almost as much as I love my momma (laughs). "
His instagram and twitter handles are the same to avoid mix-ups from fans searching for artists with the same name.
