Mr. Smith is an 80's baby and a native of Akron, OH. Mr. Smith grew up listening to a variety of genres of music stemming from Lonnie Liston Smith, Curtis Mayfield, Roy Ayers, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Phonte, Little Brother, Styles P, Soulja Slim, J Dilla, and many more. Mr. Smith made his debut when he shot a video at the school (Buchtel) in which he teaches and graduated from in 2005. Currently, Mr. Smith released his first debut album titled The $upport Ep produced by Lowkeysteve. The album has one feature on a classic Roy Ayers sample titled Sunshine featuring Jovan Wilder. Mr. Smith believes in hard bars being HABBIT and does not curse in any of his music. My mission as a artist is to educate, entertain, and inform. Mr. Smith currently teaches at his alma mater Buchtel High School in Akron, OH as an Intervention Specialist and is working on his second Master's degree in Administration.
