At the age of seventeen, Mr.Wisdom relocated to Calgary Alberta to further pursue his music career with recording artist and long time friend Big Zig. Together they formed a duo which they called "Local Legendz". Producing a lot of their own beats ranging from upbeat party tracks to deep raw hip hop over simple sample beats.Together they performed numerous shows in the Calgary area as well as back home in B.C at bars, underground hip hop clubs, and at parties. Performing together as Local Legendz as well as solo performances. Both participated in countless staged battles and show openings. More significantly experience on the streets where they perfected the art of freestyle battle rapping. Their names became known locally.
Mr.Wisdom released his first FULL LENGTH studio project on March 1st, 2012. Entitled 'Stay True' it is a fifteen song disc that was recorded at Music Box Studios in Edmonton,Alberta. He accomplished this dream by gaining some help along the way from friends local rappers and entrepreneur's Deuce Fantastick, and Jay Stacks (Peep Game) , and friend, partner and local rapper "Loyal T" . Tracks on the album "Stay True" include classic Mr.Wisdom songs "Last Chance" "Fed Up , and "I Am The One". (All of which have official music videos on the website You Tube.) As well as features from a variety of Canadian Artists including Moka Only, Loyal T and Sonik & K-Blitz.
Returning to his hometown of Vernon in 2013 Mr Wisdom joined "Dungeon Entertainment Inc", an Independent Record Label formed by long time friend, partner and fellow rapper Leverage. His second studio project entitled "My Life" was released on May 1st, 2013. The thirteen track mix tape is a more in depth look into the life of "Mr.Wisdom" from his eyes. It contains material consisting of humorous yet graphic and controversial lyrics which he displays boldly with his talented rhyme ability and quick rhyme schemes. His technical flow patterns are powerfully executed with his raspy voice and aggressive deliverance. "its really a beautiful disaster."My Life" contains many jaw dropping and grimy tracks ("I Don't Give A Shit") as well as lyricism based on personal life experiences in their rawest form ("Days Like This" FT. " fellow "Dungeon Entertainment Inc" artist "Leverage" and "My Life"). The first single off the album "The Invasion"dropped as a music video on Oct.28.2013.
After release of "Back Then' Featuring Crooked I, Leverage, & BMoney Grenier Mr. Wisdom DEBUTS at #1 -Hip Hop Artist in Vernon BC on Reverbnation (May.26.2013). From sharing the stage with fellow "Dungeon Artist's" Creative Bloodline, @ "Krizz Kaliko "Madchild" "Tech N9NE"Show. Mr.Wisdom has also opened shows for the following artists: Swollen Members","Kyprios" of "Sweatshop Union" & "Moka Only" "","Bizzare" of (D12) and legendary "Xzibit" to name a few.Mr.Wisdom is getting his name known surely to Hip-Hop fans throughout Canada in a major way.
With Features with artist's such as ,''Crooked I"(Slaughterhouse),"Snak The Ripper", "Moka Only" , Features underway with "Choclair" & "Madchild" and two other albums currently ongoing It's clear that Mr.Wisdom is not going anywhere, anytime soon and will continue to be a growing part of Canadian /International Hip Hop and it's future.
