Since attaining his Championship in 1989, David has defended his title over 27 times and attained a record of 54 wins, zero losses with 50 knockouts. Due to David's outstanding kickboxing and singing career, he has been nicknamed the "The Romantic Warrior" by those who have had the pleasure of seeing him both in the ring and on the stage.
Born in Tokyo Japan, music and martial arts have been an important aspect of David's life. He began his musical career at the age of seven with vocal and clarinet lessons. He also plays the saxophone and guitar. David has been actively involved in martial arts since the age of five. He holds two black belts in Karate and one in Aikido. David was inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1996.
Following David's retirement from kickboxing, he quickly capitalized on his fame and followed his true love which was music. Touring Europe, Asia and the United States for the next several years.
David signed with a new label for his first solo project in 2003, since then he has completed three more albums and continues touring and wowing audiences with his Unique Smooth Jazz and Blues Show.
