Mr! Metaphor (Milton Ligarius Joyce) was born in Lufkin,TX August 22, 1982. He was raised by his mom and grandparents in the Wells projects. He never really got to know his father due to his father's drug habits. When Met was 9 years old he began to play the drums at the Wells Baptist Church. He played the drums there up until he went down the wrong path and began to hustle at the age of 15. He graduated from Lufkin High School in 2000 at the age 17. He went to college at Tyler Junior College,Texas College,and UT Tyler where he received 2 degrees in Criminal Justice and General Studies. After college he worked as a corrections officer at TYC and TDC. Still feeling like he lacked purpose he started his own label in 2005 and began to make music for the Lord. He finally got back on the right path and found his true purpose in life. Go tell somebody what God has done for you.
