Prince Ade grew up in London’s notoriously tough Stonebridge Estate, music was one of the only way he could reflect upon the harsh realities of his environment. He refuses to be a product of his environment. His style is a combination of poetry, reality, spirituality, purposeful, political and Afrocentric. Radical at times but realises that it’s “abnormal to be normal in an abnormal society”. He raps about growth; the awakening of ones inner self and realization of the spiritual being Within. His main aim is to spread the growth and togetherness through music and not violence and ignorance. Delivering harsh, truthful and meaningful rhymes over suculent beats. Fusing emotional story telling beats with igniting rhymes. CEO of Ade Entertainment. Prince Ade is a musician, actor, philosopher, artist, activist and humanitarian. His passion is to challenge social injustice, manipulation of power along with the political weapons of ignorance and fear through his music. ‘Rocky Roadz’ is his most personal project to date.
What uniquely sets Prince Ade apart from the rest is his way of breaking away from the traditional and familiar method of rap. His music tells a story of hope, survival, sorrow, hate, happiness, bereavement, companionship and love. With a Pan-African perspective at heart, he aims to bridge nations and generations with his music reaching out to both young and old, white and black.
