Since establishing as a hypnotherapist, some years ago, Alan was regularly complimented by clients on the quality of his voice, and they often asked whether he produced any more recordings (his clients always used his stock CD in their therapy). This spurred Alan on to investigate and start working with this genre of recording.
Since 2009, Alan has been writing and recording commercially, aiming his efforts at some of the more commonly seen symptoms that his clients were presenting with, and so first produced 'Lose Weight', 'Stop Smoking', and 'Simply Sleep'. Alan's stock CD had routinely been helpful for clients struggling with sleeplessness, and the feedback from Simply Sleep showed that he'd hit the nail on the head again!
Alan then went on to produce two closely related recordings in 'Conceive' and 'Loving Promise'. Alan believes firmly that a relaxed person creates the right internal chemical environment to both conceive, and carry, a child, but that attempts to conceive, and the time in which a Mother carries her child through pregnancy, can be busy and stressful. These recordings are the perfect excuse to stop the rush and allow a little peace in. They're a great gift idea too!
Most recently, Alan has produced two straightforward 'relaxation' recordings, in 'Simplicity' and 'Cool It', one general, and one aimed at workplace stress.
Alan is lucky enough to be teamed up with a professional producer, in Maurice Cheetham, who has a long pedigree in the music business, and gives the recordings a highly polished finish, and all of Alan's recordings use full stereo, deliberately distracting echo tracks, and sometimes safe, reassuring, subliminal content.
These recordings are easily on a par, if not better, than those by some of the more well known producers of hypnosis/relaxation/self help recordings, and Alan's reassuring voice is perfectly suited to this genre.
Alan intends building this library of relaxation and hypnosis recordings into a comprehensive catalogue, and in future, breaking some new ground in this genre of recording, so watch this space!
