Sharon is an international recording artist and inspirational speaker with a a strong musical and spiritual background. Music and ministry have been an integral part of her life. Sharon is a singer, songwriter and musician; she plays piano and guitar and has had the opportunity to record three albums: Rescue (1999), Healed and Restored (2004) and Vulnerable (2009). She has been so blessed to go on many tours with her music around the world as well as perform live on TV, radio and film. She has had the opportunity to sing and share her testimony as an inspirational speaker in highschools, churches, concerts, nightclubs, community centres, banquets, live television & radio interviews, conferences and many special events invitations as a musical guest.
Sharon has toured, singing/performing as well as doing charity work, to parts of the world including the UK, Romania, India, Philippines, China, Thailand, Israel, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Australia, Dubai, Mexico, Jamaica, USA, Canada and more. Sharon has a very international mind and desires to bring healing to the world with the gift of music that God has given her. She is presently recording a new album which is soon to be released in early of 2013.
In 1998 Sharon was a victim of violence, sustaining multiple stab wounds and nearly lost her life. Only by the grace of God did she survive such an event, inspiring her to share her testimony through public speaking and song hoping to inspire others to live life to its fullest! Sharon strongly feels that no matter what "we go through in life, trust in God, and you can make it through and survive!"
Sharon pursued an education in Makeup Artisty (1998 Blanche Macdonald Art Institute) then following her dream of music and performance, went on to study at Mount Royal Conservatory of music completing a three-year music program. She majored in voice/minor in piano, guitar and music composition and production. She also is the founder of her band name " Soul 2 Life. Soul 2 Life consists of anywhere from 3-10 members performing, depending on the venue. The band plays covers songs, originals, soul, R&B, jazz, gospel, funk and more. Sharon is the lead singer in the band and plays keyboards. Other instrumentation includes, drums, saxophone, trumpet, flute, guitar and bass. Sharon is also the music director for an award winning children's band called the Lollipop Girls.
When she is not on the road touring, Sharon is a vocal coach and works for Tom Lee Music, Steveston Music Studio and Blue Egg Entertainment teaching singing lessons, vocal coaching and music theory. Sharon also teaches songwriting (music composition) workshops and owns her own publishing company ©SBEE PUBLISHING. She is also registered with Socan/ Ascap publishers. Sharon is a humanitarian, a lover of God, people and believes strongly in Peace, Joy and that "Love never fails!!"
