Tak Ming Tsui is a chromatic harmonica virtuoso specializing in traditional Chinese folk music. Currently residing in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was born in Shanghai, China and moved to Hong Kong where his music career began. In the early 1970s, Mr. Tsui was designated by Horner A.G. to demonstrate and promote its harmonicas. In 1973, he recorded his first major works titled "Original Music from Red China" which secured an international released by Polydor. In 1982, he recorded "Pamir Capriccio" by Wut Man Chung with New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, he recorded and performed Chinese traditional and western classics with Hong Kong Philharmonic, Honolulu Symphony, and Taipei City Chinese orchestra in recitals and as guest soloist. Mr. Tsui was interviewed by various radio and television stations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Honolulu, and Taiwan. His harmonica performance was broadcast and featured in video by Shanghai Television.
