The Apostles started on the gospel scene in September 1999. Earnest Faust Jr., Jacquelyn "Jackie" Etienne and Marlon R. Graves make up Gospel’s Newest Sensation The Apostles. Known to industry for their Smooth Sound with Tight Harmony singing style. The Apostles have been electrifying the music scene with their diverse approach to Gospel’s contemporary Christian, Urban and Traditional genre of music for more than a decade.
They have shared and opened for many major gospel acts over the years like Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, Bobby Jones talent (Showcases) TBN, Foxwoods Casino, Stellar Awards talent showcase, stage plays, and many more. Most recently the trio was honored to have been nominated in four categories in 2011 at the South Florida Gospel Music Awards in West Palm Beach, Fla. headed by Florida Gospel Mogul Peppy Hendrix and for the second year in a row nominated for two Texas Outer Gospel Excellence Music Awards ’11 & ’12.
In 2011 The Apostles released "Winner in You" there classic single in the European Independent Gospel Market. Debut on the charts at #27; they stayed on or in the top (10) for more than 30 weeks reaching a high point of a #7 ranking. While in the states their single release debuted at #7 per the highly respected Gospel USA magazine and known U.S. Indie charts, reaching a # 4 ranking showcasing for 26 weeks in GUTM publications 2011’12. If you know them their accomplishments do not define them. Their dedication to "God’s Word" and their obedience "To Save One Soul" which stands as the ministries motto which drives them from local area churches to concert events across the country. Haggled with financial, family and health issues, the ministry was challenged over the years with many opportunities to quit and go their separate ways. Original co-founding member Kenneth Herring departure from the ministry stagnated the sound of The Apostles but did not stop their drive to go forth. In 2006 Jacquelyn "Jackie" Etienne; graced the ministry with her strong melodious R&B sound. Having sung with Earnest Faust Jr. Years prior in his secular days as solo artist their chemistry was not far from perfect. Original co-founder Marlon R. Graves aka "Maze" unique abilities to write, sing as well add a RnB flavor parallel Earnest’s strong vocal approach and Jackie’s diva sound. Together they form today’s hottest Gospel Ministry coming out of Miami, Fla.; where Gospel greats before them like The Woods Brothers, 2nd Chapter, Johnny Sanders and Miami Mass Choir have and still show why talent out of Miami is worth all the blessings.
Earnest, Jackie and Marlon are highly respected in their community and professions.

Marlon: a Senior Higher Education Consultant and Secondary Educator.
