Soul_TribeSA, originated mid-2013, acollision of two main group (Fulltime DJ/Producer and Producer/Pianist)both sold out to music and entertainment, with years of experience and hard work, they now joined forces to pursue and take on greater heights together in their musical journey.
Soul_TribeSA is the inn thing, with a fulltime high skilled recognized on point DJ, recognized producer, percussionist and a steel pan player, now the trend we setting be still un known to many, it’s the new thing that a lot still have not yet seen done live, it’s what we offer on a live platform, we started off with it 2013 with live midi synthesizing and percussions, now joined by a steel pan player.

DJ Shimistry, started deejay’ingwhile in high school, playing for schools functions and using cassettes, back then it was kwaito all the way until they introduced house in the 90's, Late 2006 DJ_Shimistry was introduced to Virtual DJ, then early 2007 joined forces with another famous local Dj known as DJ_Exi, Played locally till approached by one of the guys who paved their way into the industry named Mystic (Dj Voodoo) and introduced them into turn tables and cdj's.
The-Dawn grew up to computers and software’s when ultimately fell in love with musical software’s in his high school days, “The Dawn” went on with the love growing in him went study music and took a studio work course with covered production and electronic music as well as keyboard tech that allowed him to grow more into production and studio work, allowing him to know more about software’s and music, till the two later met with one thing in mind, to pursue music full force.
Sir Sailor(Percussionist) and entertainer started performing arts 1998 at school with drama and grew up with the heart for entertainment, started and tried a lot with entertainment till finally hooked to dancing and DJ’ing, his journey for entertainment went on until he reached the professional level and worked with Africa Umoja for 8 years. During the adventure he realized that his passion was playing percussion.
KingWow“Steelpan player (Pannist)”. His journey started back then when he was 9years old, when he visited Johannesburg Zoo. He met another band called Steeldrum and Bass where he was accepted as a Celloist (four drum player) then he moved and played Marimba finally he got to the lead pan (his passion), He was made a band leader in 2012 but before he taught himself through research and by the late Sipho Mazibuko who was one of the guys who mastered the lead (steel) pan.
DJ Shimistry managed to pave his way into the industry, going up till he grew and ventured into higher platforms where he had to play alongside thebest like,Ganyani, ZakesBantwini, Ruby Gold, DJ Pex (kalawa), Nestum (Lesedifm), C'ya (Jozi FM), Monique Bingham (GOGO Music) and many more…
While The_dawn went on to the musical side of it and studied keyboard, then managed to get in touch with a lot of vocalist and co-producers, instrumentalist to work with and managed to get the legendary Gospel vocalist “Avis” to do a motivational track with them titled “Believe.
KingWow played in different restaurants around Johannesburg and Patapata was one of the best, we travelled to Grahamstown as a band to the art festival where he also got a chance to perform live on stage with the famous Steel Pan Player Andy Narell from the United States of America. He was invited to SunCity (North West) for many different events. He had a privilege of entertaining the Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding, playing at the Joy of Jazz opening was an honor to him because he also played with his former band for the famous Bra Huge Masikela, HotstixMabuse and many more famous Jazz artists. He was also invited at Gold Reef City to entertain the Prime Ministers like NomvulaMokonyane, Minister of Arts and Culture Paul Mashatileand other ministers in the Government sector.
