George Dawson III, musically known as G Major, has been singing technically, since his first coo. He was formally introduced to music at the age of five. It was then that G became acquainted with a recording studio, and took lessons to exact his voice. Music made a big impression on G at a young age, drawing him to the piano. Little did he know, he was already becoming a musical phenomenon.
Continuing his love for music during his adolescence, G majored in voice, performing, and toured with Duke Ellington's School Of The Arts Show Choir. This experience advanced his skills in drama and dance as well.
In the year of 2000, G achieved his goal of having his own personal recording studio, (Gypsy Man ProductionCompany), while continuing to visit other local recording studios in Chocolate City. Since then he has created hundreds of songs. G Major's style can be best classified as music for the fellas to rock, and something extraordinary to make the ladies panties drop! Disappointed with todays R&B, he incorporates old school vibes with his own twist, making his music raw and on the edge. Call it "Major R&B", he creates something more than your average, pretty boy R&B. What sets G Major aside from his competition is the fact that he does not have a certain image. There is no limit to G's music because it is unrestricted, not fitting in a mold of just one style.
