Born Exzavier M. Jones Jr, Chicago, Illinois, USA. The former servant of darkness who went by the rap name 'Maniac' aka 'Blasphemy' gave his life to Jesus Christ and now uses his life, gifts and talents to advance the Kingdom of God. Raised on the south side of Chicago by his mother, Exzavier started to show considerable creative ability and talent as a young child. Before he was a rapper, he was first recognized to have great vocal talent for his age. He began to rap, when at a young age; a woman was brutally murdered right behind the place where he lived. From that point on, he rhymed or wrote poetry to artistically convey the world he seen around him. He was known in high school from rapping at the lunch room tables and winning battle contest despite his young age of 14. He later went on to go by the name of Maniac aka Blasphemy because his interpretation of God was based on the hypocrisy he seen in religion. It was not long before he was well known for his rapid fire lyrics and punch lines, going on to win an out of state battle contest at the age of 16. However, at the age of 19 he was introduced to Jesus Christ and subsequently gave up his demonic beliefs and became a servant of The Ancient of Days and His Son Jesus Christ.
The name Providence initially came from the hospital he was born in, but was later confirmed in a prophetic dream. The Lord showed him in various prophetic dreams that he would "minister beauty for ashes and joy for pain" both nationally and internationally. Providence Muzic has a unique anointing and lyrical style that sets him apart from other artist. He's known for his versatility, blunt honesty and uncompromising passion for Christ. His music has been played on radio stations all over the US, and has even been heard by Quincy Jones. Currently Providence Muzic resides in Chicago, IL and is the President and CEO of Knights Of The Kingdom Records L.L.C
Providence is currently working on his sophmore project 'Writings Of A Madman' that will be released spring '2011 along with a re-recorded and remastered version of 'Unbreakable' his first album.
