Rick Lawrence a.k.a. Scratch Cat was born in Kingston Ontario Canada on July 15th 1979. When he was growing up at the age of 12 years old, Scratch Cat met a friend who could beat box, who then showed him the scratch cat the basics. As time went on Scratch cat poured every bit of himself into perfecting the art and with years of dedication and practice finally acquired the skill of human Beat boxing.
