Julio Guillen (Inkzvolte) was born in New Orleans but raised in Cancun, Mexico. Julio started composing, singing, and playing guitar at 13. He was influenced early in his life by bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Jamiroquai, Carlos Santana, Radiohead, Bob Marley, etc.
